Medical Terminology is offered as a dual credit class to our Academy students by CCA (Community College of Aurora). The course information provided by CCA reads as follows: "This course offers students who are preparing for a profession in the health care industry a foundation of medical terminology. The course will focus on prefixes, suffixes, word roots and combining forms." Eligibility is determined through a passing score in the Accuplacer, a pre-assessment tool used for placement by CCA.
